M2 Upgrade - Vimiera Rd Stablisation Project

Construction of bases, heavy retaining walls, a sewer riser, dissipator structure, barriers, drainage and associated works adjacent to the live motorway on a difficult site.

• Design, supply and installation of formwork to walls over 6m high and 4.2m wide, with concrete pressures over 120KPa. 
• Design, supply and install all scaffold.
• Pump and place 2500m3+ concrete.
• Design, supply and operate a 32m tower placement boom, concrete pumped via 250m of line from M2 carriageway. 

Hardwick Lane Bridge, Yass

Construction of a three span, 60m deck bridge ove the Yass River.

This involved

• Abutment and twin pier and headstock construction.
• bridge plank installation
• deck, parapet and approach slab construction all in accordance to the RTA B80 spec

Brooklyn Sewerage Treatment Plant

As part of the Sydney Water Priority Sewerage Scheme, a new sewerage treatment plant was built at Brooklyn including contruction of

• Large Multi chamber Biorector
• Chemical Dosing Unit
• First Flush Tank
• Building and ammenities slabs and first fix fit out to buildings
• External ground slabs
• All water retaining structures Hydrostatically tested and passed leak free first test.

M2 Upgrade Project, Christie Road Bridge

As a part of the M2 Upgrade project with Leighton Contractors, Timbermass Constructions was awarded the contract to both lengthen and widen the the Christie Road overbridge.

This involved

• extension of the existing central median crash barrier and headstock.
• Extisting abutment extension and new abutment construction.
• Two post tensioned diaphrams to the existing superstructure to lengthen bridge span and accomodate the additional west bound M2 lane.
• All works carried out and completed under live traffic conditions from start to finish.

PSP Three Towns Sewerage Scheme

Construction of pumping stations, wetwell chambers, chemical dosing units and plant room buildings to Wilberforce, Richmond and Freemans Reach, including structural design and construction of suspended post tensioned slabs.
